On September 9, 2026, Palia announced Echo Expeditions. It is cozy dungeon exploration, content you enjoy through cooperation without any elements where players fight each other. It comes to all platforms as a free update.

There are also quests for the whole world. Petals & Portraits, the first part of the Fall's Faire event, released on August 26, 2026, and added Civic Projects, where players around the world pool their strength.
Frights & Delights followed on September 29, 2026, and Hearty Homecoming is planned for November. The developer said this fall event aims to bring the global community together and deepen the connections between players, and with residents.
Singularity 6 CEO Anthony Leung said in July 2021, before launch, that he wanted players to truly feel they belong. It means Palia's design was aimed at connections between people from the start.

There is no PvP combat where players fight each other directly, so it suits people who find combat-focused showdowns stressful. Its US ESRB rating is 10 and up.
